High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. We went to this Applebee's three times and every single time our orders were significantly messed up. We understand that mistakes happen sometimes, so we kept giving them the benefit of doubt, but after three times when the restaurant was not even busy (mid-day on a weekday), there's just no excuse. To make things worse, the issues were not handled well at all. We won't be going back, so it's a good thing a Chili's was just built next door.

Great place for getting together with friends. Food is high end fast food. Servers are always wonderful. Rest rooms are not the best. GP

The service was great but the food was AWFUL! Me and my friend get seated, the atmosphere is nice, ya'know family friendly right? We get some appetizers (salad) overall it's okay. Then I get my burger. When we both came home my stomach was hurting and I vomited. I had a very upset stomach for the rest of the day... Ew. Two stars for good service...

It pains me to have to give even one star. Very, very poor service and management. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite this bad. Our poor server was very young, inexperienced and untrained. I actually felt sorry for him. He was clueless. The management/food runner duo tossed our plates down and ran without a word. When we got the second (red/blondish headed) to stop in her heels she looked at us like we were nuts for asking for the water we had already requested twice- and even more nuts for requesting tartar and cocktail sauce for our shrimp. When a third manager (John?) stopped by after one of our party sent her food back it was like talking to the wall. Almost twilight zone-esque. Never ever again!

The food was ok. The service was fair. We had to ask for plates on which to eat our appetizers. And we had to ask for drink refills. But the waitress was pleasant enough. Not my favorite restaurant but overall fine.

I'm not going to lie, I hadn't had Applebee's in quite some time and was skeptical about going there, but I was pleasantly surprised. The French onion soup was delicious, I will go back just for that! I also tried the chicken Caesar salad and my husband has the chicken fingers. They were each good and a good value. Our server was friendly and quick.

Loved the strong bean appetizer but really, really disliked the peppered sirloin with portabella mushrooms spinach and grains. Steak was awful. But bar atmosphere is great!

I gave it 3 Stars for one reason only. Because the r was a lady smoking an E-Cigarette at the bar. I don't care if it's "Vapors". The act is Smoking and there is not to be ANY smoking at Applebee's. Rules should be do r everyone.

The spouse and I both had a rough week, were very hungry and needed a late TGIF. We were seated near the hostess station. For about 20 minutes I couldn't hear one word the hubby was saying because there was so much bickering and complaining near me amongst a few of the staff about their jobs and co-workers. Other patrons nearby began to clear out. The décor is updated and nice and all we wanted was a decent meal, some time to talk, relax, and catch up on sports. I asked the manager if he could simmer down the drama that was right in my ear, and he shut it down immediately. My steak was good and cooked to a medium rare and the spouse enjoyed his burger that came out just the way he requested. Overall, I recommend this restaurant. The manager and server were both great, hence the full stars. .

Great location and convenient for us but be prepared...on a busy night, service is terrible. Slow to get drinks out from the bar and food was slow to arrive. We ordered the perfect margarita. The first round was perfect..2nd round had so much sweet and sour or margarita mix, it made my throat sore. Maybe its just because it was a Friday night and it was busy but it wasn't a perfect experience. We will definitely give it another try.

Located around a bunch of shops and other restaurants, this is some place you can go and know what to expect. One of the few places around that is open late. Service is friendly and similar to the other chains. So is the menu. "To go" is easy as you order and then there are "to go" parking where they bring the food and your bill out to you!

I had not been to Applebees probably in about 5 years. I now have one by my house, and I love the fact that they have an outside dining area. We are in Florida, and it is winter, and I have my little dog of course. That means, eat outside with my wonderful shih tzu Mocha Coconut. So happy I went here. I am not all about visiting chains, but it was pretty good. There are a lot of selections, and the pictures on the menus are amazing. My husband likes to eat with his eyes, and not read a bunch of fancy pretty-like words. There are options for people who want to eat better, and options for everyone across the board. Our waitress was wonderful, cheery, efficient, quick and helpful. She brought our food to us, which consisted of several orders since their were three of us. Oriental Chicken salad, and half a roast beef sandwich, steak and potatoes, and chicken and shrimp. All were very flavorful. The oriental Chicken salad was my favorite. I notice now that they are renovating the Applebees, and putting brand new signs up, and I look forward to checking them out again when they have that all done. I also look forward to their drink, appetizers, and happy hour specials.

If you get take out, be sure to REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. We got home to find out I did not have ANY shrimp in my supposedly shrimp salad. That's right, a container of very expensive spinach and few things to add in.... How on earth do you manage to do this? Can I ask for my tip back? At least an apology?

I have grown up in WC and have not been to this Applebee's in 5 years. Until last night. And as I suspected it was just as bad...if not worse then I remember. I walked in and was seated by a hostess in a stained shirt and yoga/pajama pants (classy). We waited quite a while to be asked what we wanted to drink. Finally we ordered about 20 minutes after being seated. I will say that the food came out freakishly fast...which may have been the only positive thing. I ordered the bourbon street steak. It came out sizzling with a side of what looked like breakfast potatoes. I asked for the steak medium. ..and when I cut into it...it looked grey, overcooked and almost translucent. The seasoning was gross and I promptly sent it back. Do yourselves a favor ans skip this place altogether...drive the extra few minutes to new tampa.

1/2 price appetizers. 2 for 1 long island ice teas. Decent waiter. Great honey BBQ wings. Delicious chicken won ton tacos. Could've done without the cheeseburger sliders- first and last time ordering balls of fried meat grease. If u like them- u might like these. Manager never visited our table so we mentioned it to our waiter as a sign on the table said we should. Resulted in a $10 off coupon for our next trip. Super good deal and fun atmosphere with sports on multiple tvs. Good way to end a Saturday night.

My wife and I have been going to Applebee's for years and we noticed a big change a few years ago (not a good one) when they brought on celebrity chef Tyler Florence to be the "face" of the restaurant. Menu changed, prices went up and food quality seemed to have gone down hill. We used to go 2-3 times a month and now have been twice in the past 3 years. Tonight I came up with the brilliant idea of going to Applebee's which turned out to be a horrible idea. It started out decent with the new pretzel and beer cheese dip. For dinner I ordered a new menu item. The 9oz. GRILLED sweet onion sirloin with crispy mashed potatoes and garlic spinach. The reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because the sides were pretty good. The steak however was another story. I don't expect a great steakhouse quality steak at a place like this but come on. I ordered it medium and it came well done, I took 2 bites and sent it back because it was like chewing on a piece of chewy salisbury steak. I don't ever send food back but it was gross. I asked for another one cooked properly. The next one came cooked almost how i like it. I don't know how they cook their steaks but its like they take it out of the freezer and microwave it. When I cut into it, it bled like I was cutting into a live cow. It was still really chewy and the only reason I ate it is because i was starving. By the time I was done eating my steak the plate was covered in blood and I couldn't finish my sides because they were drenched in it. Worse steak I have ever eaten. Can't go back. I wish they would go back to the old Applebee's.

Half price appetizers are only 1 perk of this place. Also you can pick what plays over the speakers, wait staff is quick, friendly and attentive. Food is good, not the best quality but what can you expect from half priced food.

Love half price appetizers. Great price, great food, good atmosphere. Don't care for particular waitress who leaves far to often and when she comes back to table I feel like I'm eating her cigarettes.

Applebees where do I start the appetizers are good when they're 2 for 1 or 50 percent off they advertise two for one all the time beers but they charge you almost $6 for one round of draft 12 ounce beer

Picture this: It's Wednesday night, you're chillin' with your friends at a bar and your server hands you your tab for $100 (hey wait I wasn't finished drinking...oh shit I should just be done drinking) and you realize that the night has come to an end. You try to go to Beef O' Brady's, but they close at 10, you try to get some liquor and chill at a friend's house, but damn, even they close at 10. Screw this suburban life, we want to continue drinking and we're hungry! Applebee's to the rescue! Open late, bustling, great service, and cheap drinks! A nightlife right here in the WC. Who'd have thunk it? After swallowing the $100 bar tab elsewhere, we were relieved to see the specials offered. 2 for 1 drinks, half price apps, oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about. After munching down on a basket of wings and some mozzarella sticks, and finishing 2 perfect margaritas, our check was less than $15. I WILL BE BACK! And next time, I'm bringing more friends. :P

I don't understand how this place has customers. Problem 1) they got our order wrong. But no big deal, it's not the first time this ever happened. 2) they got our order wrong again. Wtf? 3) they didn't replace the wrong order that we waited more than half an hour for. 4) I started drinking. I just turned 21 so my tolorence isn't so great yet. Wellll... I down FOUR margaritas in an hour and a half, the last of which I chugged. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TANKED. But nothing happened.. Like I mean nothing.not even that warm tummy feeling. SIDE-NOTE: one margarita at primebar I'm giggley as hell, two at chilis and I'm tanked. 5) I asked for the manager, I asked him what's up with the drinks. He tried to feed me some crap about a controlled pour and that I must just have an AMAZING tolorence to alcohol.. But eventually he offered to take the drinks off the bill... Never did,
